About Gethin Jones
Gethin Clifford Jones, born on 12 February 1978, is a Welsh television presenter and the founder and CEO of Unlocking Potential. He commenced his television career on the Welsh language channel S4C, where he presented various children's programmes including Popty, Mas Draw, and the flagship children's entertainment show Uned 5 from 2002 to 2005. During his time at Manchester Metropolitan University, he was an active rugby union player. In 2005, he became the 31st presenter of the BBC children's programme Blue Peter. In 2020, Jones began co-presenting the BBC1 magazine show Morning Live from studios in Manchester; following a successful trial, the programme was commissioned as an all-year-round fixture on BBC1. Throughout his career, Jones has been involved in media and television presenting, contributing to children's programming and daytime television.
