George Selgin: podcast appearances and interviews

George Selgin is an American economist born on February 15, 1957. He served as a Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute and was the founding Director of its Center for Monetary and Financial Alternatives. Selgin also held the position of editor-in-chief of the center's online publication, Alt-M. In addition to his work at the Cato Institute, he is a Professor Emeritus of economics at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and is an Honorary Professor at Francisco Marroquin University. He is also involved in academic publishing as an associate editor of Econ Journal Watch. Throughout his career, Selgin has also taught at George Mason University, the University of Hong Kong, and West Virginia University. He retired from his professional activities in July 2025.
