Gene Bruno is an American acupuncturist and doctor of Oriental Medicine. Born on April 13, 1948, in Los Angeles, he has contributed significantly to the development of acupuncture education in the United States. In 1974, Bruno helped establish the New England School of Acupuncture, which was the first acupuncture school in the country. The following year, he played a role in founding the California Acupuncture College, the second such institution in the United States. Currently, he serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Nutraland USA, Inc. Bruno's work in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine has been instrumental in advancing the field and integrating traditional practices into broader healthcare contexts.
