Gary Holt: podcast appearances and interviews

Gary Holt, born on May 4, 1964, is an American musician known for his contributions to the thrash metal genre. He is the guitarist and main songwriter for the band Exodus and has been a member of Slayer since 2011. Holt initially joined Slayer as a temporary guitarist in place of Jeff Hanneman and became a permanent member after Hanneman's death in May 2013. Although he did not join Exodus until 1981, Holt is the only member to appear on all of the band's albums. Recognized for his guitar playing, Loudwire has described Holt as arguably the best pure thrash guitarist. In addition to his musical career, Holt is also known for his role as co-founder and executive creative director at SomeOne, a creative agency.
