Gary Green: podcast appearances and interviews

Gary Green is the wideout coach and passing game coordinator at Providence Day School, where he is affiliated with Gentle Giant. Though primarily known for his coaching role, he shares a name with the English musician Gary William Green, who was born in Stroud Green, North London. The musician Green was active during the 1970s as the guitarist for the progressive rock band Gentle Giant, contributing throughout the band's recording career. His guitar style was distinguished by blues influences, setting him apart from many of his peers, and he was also proficient on instruments such as the mandolin and recorder. Green's versatility extended to collaborations and recordings beyond Gentle Giant, including membership in the band Mother Tongue, contributions to The Green Album with Eddie Jobson and Zinc, and projects alongside Billy Sherwood like Back Against The Wall and Return to the Dark Side of the Moon. He currently is part of a band called Three Friends with fellow band member Malcolm Mortimore. Residing in Princeton, Illinois, Green lives with his wife, Judy. Additionally, his brother Jeff Green was involved in the music industry as a roadie for Soft Machine and later performed with Elton Dean.
