Erika Dyck: podcast appearances and interviews

Erika Ellen Dyck is a Canadian historian born in 1975 and based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She is a professor of history at the University of Saskatchewan and holds the position of Canada Research Chair in the History of Medicine. Dyck completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Saskatchewan before transferring to Dalhousie University. She returned to Saskatoon for her master's degree and later earned a PhD in the history of medicine from McMaster University. During her doctoral work, she was encouraged by Larry Stewart to focus on experimentation in Canada, which led her to research topics such as LSD and eugenics in Saskatchewan. In 2014, Dyck was inducted into the New College of Scholars, Artists and Scientists at the Royal Society of Canada.
