Erica Campbell: podcast appearances and interviews

Erica Monique Campbell (born April 29, 1972) is an American gospel singer, songwriter, survivor, author, and advocate. She began her music career in the late 1990s as part of the group Mary Mary, which she formed with her younger sister Tina Campbell. Specializing in urban contemporary gospel, Christian R and B, and contemporary R B genres, Campbell gained recognition with her solo debut album Help in 2014. The album reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart and received a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album at the 57th Grammy Awards. Its reissue, Help 2.0 in 2015, included the gospel trap single I Luh God, which topped the gospel chart. In 2023, she released her second album, I Love You, and in 2024, she collaborated with Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Israel Houghton, Jonathan McReynolds, and Jekalyn Carr on the track One Hallelujah, which won the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance/Song. In addition to her music career, Campbell has appeared in films such as Sister Act 2 Back in the Habit and The Fighting Temptations. Since May 2016, she has hosted Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell alongside comedian Griff, a program distributed by Reach Media, the syndication arm of Urban One. Campbell is also known for her advocacy and her work as a survivor and author.
