Eric Zimmerman: podcast appearances and interviews

Eric Zimmerman, born in 1969, is an American game designer and the Chief Market Solutions Officer at Keypoint Intelligence. Although primarily recognized for his contributions to the game industry, he is also co-founder and CEO of Gamelab, a computer game development company based in Manhattan. Gamelab gained prominence for developing the game Diner Dash. Zimmerman has been actively involved in the academic and professional discourse on game design; he is a founding faculty member at the NYU Game Center and has hosted the Game Design Challenge at the Game Developers Conference annually. In addition to his industry roles, he is a co-author of the influential book Rules of Play with Katie Salen, published in November 2004. Since 1996, Zimmerman has authored at least 24 essays and whitepapers primarily focusing on game development from an academic perspective, contributing to the understanding and advancement of game design disciplines.
