Eric Genuis: podcast appearances and interviews

Eric Genuis is a Canadian composer and musician based in Louisville, Kentucky. Born in Toronto on March 13, 1967, he holds a degree in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada. In addition to his musical career, he studied to become a math and physics teacher. Genuis is known for his Concerts for Hope and performs his original compositions more than a hundred times annually. He is recognized for playing in diverse venues such as prisons, hospitals, rehab centers, nursing homes, and inner-city schools. His engagement in these settings was initiated when he was invited to perform in a maximum security prison, motivated by his belief that music brings humanity and beauty to environments in need of these qualities. Genuis has performed internationally, including in the United States, Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Peru, Poland, and Slovakia. Beginning in February 2019, he embarked on his second tour of Australia with concerts held in locations such as Corrimal and Windang in New South Wales.
