Eric Clark (29 July 1937 – 22 October 2018) was a British author and investigative journalist known for his wide-ranging writing career. His work includes the book The Real Toy Story, which explores the competitive nature of the global toy market and the strategies companies use to appeal to consumers. Clark authored several books across both fiction and non-fiction genres, which have been published in more than 20 countries. His journalism included a series of articles in The Observer during the 1960s that investigated the American Mafia's influence on London's casinos; these articles contributed to changes in UK gambling laws.
