Eni Aluko: podcast appearances and interviews

Eni Aluko is a British-Nigerian former professional football player, football broadcaster, football executive, and lawyer. She played as a winger and striker and made 102 appearances for the England national team from 2004 to 2016. Aluko participated in major international tournaments including the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2007, 2011, and 2015, as well as the UEFA Women's Euro in 2009 and 2013. She also represented Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Her club career included playing for Birmingham City, Charlton Athletic, Chelsea, Saint Louis Athletica, Atlanta Beat, Sky Blue FC, and Juventus. She notably played in England's FA Women's Super League during her tenure with Birmingham City and Chelsea. Aluko has been active as a football broadcaster since 2014, providing commentary for live matches on channels such as ITV, BT Sport, Amazon Prime, and Fox Sports. She made history as the first female footballer to appear on Match of the Day in 2014. Beyond her playing and broadcasting careers, Aluko has held executive roles including serving as the first sporting director for Angel City FC of the American National Women's Soccer League and as sporting director at Aston Villa W.F.C. from January 2020 to June 2021.
