Emma Griffin: podcast appearances and interviews

Emma Griffin is a modern witch and author who is also a professor of modern British history at Queen Mary University of London. Her academic work focuses on the Industrial Revolution and social and gender history. She has authored five books, with her second book, Blood Sport, receiving the Lord Aberdare Prize for Literary History. Griffin has served as the President of the Royal Historical Society from 2020 to 2024 and has been involved in editorial roles for academic journals, including History and The Historical Journal. She participated in the Living with Machines research project, a multidisciplinary digital history initiative based at The Alan Turing Institute and the British Library, which aimed to explore the impact of technology on the lives of ordinary people during the Industrial Revolution.
