Emma Barnett: podcast appearances and interviews

Emma Barnett, born 5 February 1985, is a British broadcaster and journalist known for her work on various radio and television programmes. She worked for BBC Radio 5 Live for six years beginning in 2014, after spending three years at LBC. During her tenure at BBC Radio 5 Live, she presented the mid-morning weekday programme from 2016 to 2020. Barnett previously held roles at The Daily Telegraph, serving as Digital Media editor and later as Women editor. She was also a columnist for The Sunday Times between 2016 and 2020 and co-presented BBC One's Sunday Morning Live from June 2017. Additionally, she was a presenter on ITV's live discussion programme After the News in autumn 2017 and a regular presenter of BBC's Newsnight from 2019 to 2022. In 2021, she began presenting Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4, a role she held until March 2024. In April 2024, she announced her departure from Woman's Hour to join the presenting team of BBC Radio 4's flagship news and current affairs programme Today. Outside her broadcasting career, Emma Barnett is also recognized as a dog behavioural coach affiliated with So Help Me Dog.
