Emerald Lilly Fennell, born on October 1, 1985, is an English actress, filmmaker, and writer. She has received numerous accolades for her work, including an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, and nominations for three Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. Fennell first gained recognition through her roles in period films such as Albert Nobbs, Anna Karenina, and The Danish Girl. She became widely known for her starring role in the BBC One drama series Call the Midwife and for portraying Camilla Parker-Bowles in the Netflix series The Crown, which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
