Eddie Turner: podcast appearances and interviews

Eddie Turner is a blues guitarist and author of the book '140 Simple Messages to Guide Emerging Leaders.' Born in Cuba and raised in Chicago, he began playing guitar at the age of twelve. Turner attended the University of Colorado in the early 1970s, where he participated in the region's first punk and R&B band, The Immortal Nightflames. He also toured briefly with Grammy Award nominee Tracy Nelson from Mother Earth. Throughout his career, Turner has been a member of various musical groups including the Legendary 4-Nikators and Zephyr, and collaborated with artists such as Ron Miles, Kenny Passarelli, and Otis Taylor, with whom he recorded five albums. His work has earned recognition within the blues community, notably being listed among the Best New Artist Debut by the Blues Foundation in 2006. Turner now performs as a solo singer and songwriter, winning the sixth annual Independent Music Awards Vox Pop vote for best Blues Album with The Turner Diaries. His song 'Mr. Blues' was nominated for Blues Song of the Year at the eighth annual Independent Music Awards, and in January 2011, his track 'Miracles and Demons' received a nomination at the tenth Annual Independent Music Awards.
