Edmund Kuepper, born on December 20, 1955, is a German-born Australian musician known for his roles as a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. He co-founded the punk band The Saints in 1973, which has been influential in the punk rock scene. Kuepper also founded the experimental post-punk group Laughing Clowns, active from 1979 to 1985, and the grunge-like band The Aints, which was active from 1991 to 1994 and has had reunions since 2017. Throughout his career, Kuepper has recorded more than a dozen albums as a solo artist, working with various backing bands.
