Drew Thomas: podcast appearances and interviews

Drew Thomas is an American comedian and the CEO of Oneiro Technologies. Born in Jamaica around 1971 or 1972, he immigrated to New York at the age of nine and was raised in The Bronx. Thomas pursued higher education in theater at Georgia Perimeter College and Kennesaw State University. Before his career in comedy, he worked as a car salesman for approximately five years at an Atlanta dealership. He gained recognition early in his comedy career by winning two comedy competitions and was named the best local comedian by Creative Loafing magazine in 2006. Thomas hosted open mic sessions at Twisted Taco and Funny Farm Comedy Club and spent three years opening for comedian Rodney Carrington's Laughter's Good tour. He has performed as a headliner at venues such as The Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California, and Brad Garrett's Comedy Club at MGM Grand Las Vegas. His television appearances include performances on Robert Townsend's comedy special Partners in Crime in 2006, seasons 6 and 9 of Last Comic Standing, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in 2010, and the Fox show Laughs in 2016. Thomas's comedy material often addresses relationship issues, current news, and everyday life.
