Steve Hodges: podcast appearances and interviews

James Stephen Hodges Sr. was an American pianist, cancer survivor, coach, hospice volunteer, and individual known for confronting a terminal illness. Throughout his life, he was involved in various roles including serving as a politician, educator, and small business owner from Missouri. Hodges was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in November 2006 and represented the 149th District, which encompassed all of New Madrid County as well as parts of Mississippi and Pemiscot counties. His commitment to public service and community involvement was complemented by his personal resilience and dedication to supporting others facing health challenges. As a member of the KiMe Cure Neurological Disorders Fund, he was engaged in efforts related to neurological health. Despite his passing on October 9, 2024, Hodges’ life was marked by his multifaceted contributions and his ability to inspire those around him through his experiences as a cancer survivor and his volunteer work in hospice care.
