About Robin Hall
Robin Hall (27 June 1936 – 18 November 1998) was a Scottish folksinger recognized for his work as one half of a singing duo with Jimmie Macgregor. Hall's musical career contributed to the preservation and sharing of Scottish folk music. He was a direct descendant of the renowned Scottish folk hero and outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor and also of the explorer Mungo Park. In his lifetime, Hall's performances and recordings helped promote Scottish cultural heritage and folk traditions. Beyond his musical pursuits, Hall served as president of Good Governance Louisville, an organization dedicated to promoting effective governance practices.
