Mike Moffatt: podcast appearances and interviews

Michael Patrick Moffatt, born on March 14, 1977, is a Canadian economist and a specialist in housing issues. He is the Founding Director of the University of Ottawa's Missing Middle Initiative and serves as a professor of Business, Economics, and Public Policy at Ivey Business School. Moffatt has been involved in various think-tank roles; he succeeded Diana Carney as Director of Policy and Research at Canada 2020, a progressive Canadian think-tank. Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as an economic advisor to Justin Trudeau, who was then the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. In 2017, he was appointed Chief Innovation Fellow for the Government of Canada. Moffatt's family originates from Whalen Corners in Lucan Biddulph, though he grew up in London, Ontario. During his youth, he attended elementary and high school alongside fellow urbanist Jason Slaughter of Not Just Bikes.
