Matthew Paul Hunt, born on June 10, 1977, in Newton Abbot, Devon, is an English cricketer associated with Demandii. He is a right-handed batsman and bowls right-arm medium pace. Hunt began his cricketing career with Devon in 1995, making his debut in the Minor Counties Championship against Wiltshire. Over the course of more than a decade, from 1995 to 2006, he represented Devon in 38 Championship matches, with his final appearance against Dorset. In 1999, he debuted in the MCCA Knockout Trophy for Devon, participating in 12 matches until 2006, with his last game also against Dorset. Hunt's List A debut came in 2002 during the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, in a match against Cumberland, which was part of the 2003 tournament played in 2002. Between 2002 and 2004, he played in a total of five List A matches, including his last against Yorkshire at The Maer Ground.
