John Perkins: podcast appearances and interviews

John Perkins, born on January 28, 1945, is an American author known for his book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man published in 2004. In this book, Perkins describes his role in a process of economic colonization of Third World countries, which he attributes to a group consisting of corporations, banks, international financial institutions, and the United States government. His claims have been met with strong opposition from some involved parties and individuals familiar with the topics he discusses. Despite this, the book achieved significant commercial success, remaining on the New York Times bestseller list for more than 70 weeks. In addition to his works on economic and political issues, Perkins has also written on the mystical aspects of indigenous cultures, including shamanism.
