Joel Beeke: podcast appearances and interviews

Joel Robert Beeke, born on December 9, 1952, is an American Reformed theologian and pastor associated with the Heritage Reformed Congregations. He is affiliated with Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, where he has served as chancellor since 2023. Beeke played a foundational role in establishing the seminary in 1995 and has held various teaching roles, including courses in homiletics, systematic theology, and practical theology. He has also served as adjunct faculty at several institutions, such as Reformed Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Additionally, Beeke lectured in homiletics at Westminster Seminary California from 1995 to 2001. In 1994, he founded Reformation Heritage Books, serving as its president and editorial director until 2022, when he became board chairman. He is the editor of the Puritan Reformed Journal and The Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth magazine, the periodical of the Heritage Reformed Congregations. Beeke also holds positions as president of Inheritance Publishers and vice president of the Dutch Reformed Translation Society. His writings focus on systematic and historical theology, emphasizing the Puritans, Calvinism, doctrines of grace, pastoral ministry, and Christian living. In recognition of his contributions, a Festschrift titled Puritan Piety: Writings in Honor of Joel R. Beeke was published in 2018, featuring contributions from notable scholars.
