Jim Gordon: podcast appearances and interviews

James Beck Gordon was an American musician and songwriter known for his work as a session drummer in the late 1960s and 1970s. He played drums in the blues rock supergroup Derek and the Dominos, contributing to a notable era of musical history. In addition to his musical career, Gordon served as the Chief Learning Officer at Massachusetts General Hospital. His life was marked by significant challenges, including a psychotic episode linked to undiagnosed schizophrenia in 1983, during which he committed his mother's murder. Following this incident, he was sentenced to 16 years to life in prison and remained incarcerated until his death in 2023.
