Beronda Montgomery: podcast appearances and interviews

Beronda Montgomery is a plant biologist, writer, researcher, and scholar with over twenty years of experience in academia. She has served as a professor and academic administrator at Michigan State University and Grinnell College. Her research focuses on how photosynthetic organisms adapt to environmental changes. In addition to her scientific work, Montgomery has studied mentorship and faculty development, aiming to develop evidence-based strategies to promote equity and inclusion within academic institutions. She is also a co-founder and co-organizer of Black Botanists Week, an initiative developed in collaboration with Tanisha Williams and other members of the Black Botanists Week organizing committee to support Black botanists.
