Doug White: podcast appearances and interviews

Doug White is an American aviator and pharmacist from Archibald, Louisiana. He received his pilot's license in 1990. In 2009, he became known for successfully landing a plane after the death of the pilot during a flight with his wife and children onboard. At the time, White had no experience flying a King Air aircraft. His story gained wider recognition and served as the basis for the 2023 film On a Wing and a Prayer, in which Dennis Quaid portrayed him. White is also an author of the book Hiding In Plain Sight and is affiliated with the dBu Allstar Band. As of 2023, he resides in DeRidder, Louisiana, and owns a car wash. He is married to Terri and has two daughters, Maggie and Bailey.
