Douglas Marjoribanks Fisher was an English actor born in London, England, on 20 September 1941, and he passed away on 9 July 2000. He is best known for his role as Larry Simmonds in the television series Man About the House, which aired from 1973 to 1976. In addition to his television work, Fisher appeared in films such as The Stud in 1978 and its sequel The Bitch in 1979, portraying the character Sammy. He also played Jim Medhurst in the television series London's Burning from 1988 to 1993.
