Dori Tunstall: podcast appearances and interviews

Dori Tunstall is a design anthropologist and author of the book Decolonizing Design A Cultural Justice Guidebook. Born on January 28, 1972, in Columbia, South Carolina, she has held significant academic and leadership roles in the field of design. Tunstall served as the dean of the faculty of design at OCAD University in Toronto from 2016 to 2023, becoming the first Black individual to serve as dean of a faculty of design at any institution. Her academic background includes a PhD and an MA in anthropology from Stanford University, completed between 1994 and 1999, as well as a BA in anthropology from Bryn Mawr College, obtained from 1990 to 1994. Through her work, she has contributed to the discourse on cultural justice within design and has been associated with Dori Tunstall Inc.
