DJ Qualls: podcast appearances and interviews

Donald Joseph Qualls, born on June 10, 1978, is an American actor recognized for his work in television and film. He is known for his roles as Citizen Z on the Syfy horror series Z Nation from 2014 to 2018 and as Ed McCarthy on the Amazon Prime Video series The Man in the High Castle during the same period. Qualls gained mainstream attention with a supporting role in the sex comedy film Road Trip in 2000 and reprised his role in its sequel, Road Trip: Beer Pong, in 2009. He also starred as the lead in the teen comedy The New Guy in 2002 and has appeared in notable films such as The Core and Hustle & Flow. His performance in Hustle & Flow earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. Qualls has starred in a variety of movies including I'm Reed Fish, Delta Farce, Amigo, Small Apartments, and Buster's Mal Heart. His television roles include Police Officer Davey Sutton on TNT's Memphis Beat from 2010 to 2011 and Billy Nugent on the FX and FXX sitcom Legit from 2013 to 2014. In addition to his acting career, Qualls is also a producer and podcaster and is noted as a future DJ.
