DJ Drama: podcast appearances and interviews

Tyree Cinque Simmons, known professionally as DJ Drama, is an American DJ, record executive, and music promoter born on April 22, 1978. He initially gained recognition as the DJ for Atlanta-based rapper T.I. and became prominent through hosting mixtapes for various hip-hop artists. His trademark Gangsta Grillz series has been influential in the genre, featuring compilations by artists such as Lil Wayne, Tyler, the Creator, Snoop Dogg, Yo Gotti, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Fabolous, Jeezy, Meek Mill, and Gucci Mane. Alongside record producer and fellow Philadelphia native Don Cannon, DJ Drama co-founded the record label Generation Now in 2015, which is an imprint of Atlantic Records. Generation Now has signed artists including Lil Uzi Vert and Jack Harlow. DJ Drama's industry connections have enabled him to feature both underground and mainstream artists as performers and producers on his projects.
