Heather Renée Sweet, known professionally as Dita Von Teese, is an American vedette, burlesque dancer, model, actress, and businesswoman. She is recognized for re-popularizing burlesque performance and has earned the moniker 'Queen of Burlesque.' Von Teese has appeared in various television productions, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, RuPaul's Drag Race, The Masked Dancer, and The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell. She has published two books that explore burlesque history, fetishism, and beauty, and has toured the world with her burlesque shows in cities such as London, Berlin, New York, and Paris. Her performances often feature notable guests like Dirty Martini, Perle Noire, Ginger Valentine, Jett Adore, and Gia Genevieve. Von Teese has been a guest at the Parisian venue Crazy Horse multiple times. She served as a global ambassador for Cointreau from 2007 to 2013 and was the face of Perrier during 2010–2011. Additionally, she has created four perfumes under her brand Dita Von Teese Perfumes and has her own line of lingerie, stockings under the name Secrets in Lace, and luxurious cardigans for the online store Wheels & Dollbaby.
