David Shipley: podcast appearances and interviews

David Julian Shipley, born on June 10, 1963, is an American journalist and author. He has held several prominent editorial positions throughout his career, including executive editor of The New Republic from 1992 to 1995. Shipley also worked at The New York Times from 1998 to 2010, where he served as the editorial page's editor from 2007 to 2010. Following his tenure there, he was the executive editor of Bloomberg View, also known as Bloomberg Opinion, from 2011 to 2022. More recently, he served as the editorial page editor at The Washington Post from 2022 to 2025.
