David Ross: podcast appearances and interviews

David Wade Ross, born on March 19, 1977, is a former professional baseball catcher and manager. He played in Major League Baseball for fifteen seasons, beginning his career with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2002. Throughout his playing career, Ross also represented the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, and Chicago Cubs. He was part of two World Series championship teams, winning with the Boston Red Sox in 2013 and the Chicago Cubs in 2016. Ross played college baseball at Auburn University and the University of Florida, participating in two College World Series. Following his playing career, he was named the manager of the Chicago Cubs prior to the 2020 season, a position he held until 2023. Beyond his baseball accomplishments, Ross is known for his advocacy related to rare diseases, reflecting on his own diagnosis of Cowden syndrome.
