David Rose: podcast appearances and interviews

David Daniel Rose (June 15, 1910 – August 23, 1990) was a British-American songwriter, composer, arranger, pianist, and orchestra leader. His notable compositions include the songs 'The Stripper,' 'Holiday for Strings,' and 'Calypso Melody.' Rose also contributed music to numerous television series, such as 'It's a Great Life,' 'The Tony Martin Show,' 'Little House on the Prairie,' 'Highway to Heaven,' 'Bonanza,' 'Leave It to Beaver,' and 'Highway Patrol,' sometimes using the pseudonym Ray Llewellyn. His work in television earned him four Emmy Awards and the role of musical director for 'The Red Skelton Show' during its 21-year run on CBS and NBC. Rose was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a fraternity for men in music. In later years, he was known for his advocacy related to patients and his involvement in business development within the field of rare diseases, notably through his affiliation with Rare Revolution Magazine.
