David Hayter: podcast appearances and interviews

David Bryan Hayter, born on February 6, 1969, is a Canadian-American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. He is recognized for providing the English-language voice for Solid Snake and Naked Snake in the Metal Gear video game series. As a screenwriter, he authored the superhero film X-Men released in 2000, earning the Saturn Award for Best Writing. His writing credits also include co-writing the films The Scorpion King in 2002, which was the first sequel to X-Men, as well as X2 in 2003 and Watchmen in 2009. Additionally, he served as a writer and producer for the streaming television series Warrior Nun. In his acting career, Hayter portrayed Sean Barker, also known as The Guyver, in Guyver: Dark Hero in 1994, and played King Shark on the television series The Flash from 2016 to 2019. His voiceover work extends to numerous video games. In 2014, Hayter expanded his career into directing with his debut film Wolves, an action horror film.
