David Brody: podcast appearances and interviews

David Philip Brody is an American commentator for the Christian Broadcasting Network and serves as the chief political analyst. Born in New Jersey on February 13, 1965, he grew up in New York City. Brody was raised in a Reform Jewish household alongside his sister Karen Rachel, but he notes that neither of his parents were particularly religious. In his twenties, he converted to Evangelical Christianity. He graduated from Ithaca College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications and served as News Director at ABC affiliate KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Brody is the author of the 2012 book The Teavangelicals: The Inside Story of How the Evangelicals and the Tea Party are Taking Back America. He also co-authored the 2018 book The Faith of Donald J. Trump: A Spiritual Biography, with Scott Lamb of The Washington Times. Brody is married to Lisette Dorianne Bassett-Brody, and the couple has three children. Known for his vocal support of Donald Trump, Brody has established himself as a prominent voice within political commentary, blending his religious background with his analysis of contemporary political developments.
