Dave Shaw: podcast appearances and interviews

Dave Shaw is the author of Maximum Possible Life and is affiliated with UK Phillies. He was known for his expertise as a scuba diver and technical diver. Shaw's adventurous pursuits included deep diving, which ultimately led to his death in 2005 while attempting to retrieve a body from South Africa's Boesmansgat cave. Beyond his diving activities, Shaw was also a professional airline pilot who flew for Cathay Pacific starting in 1989. His career with Cathay Pacific included operating various aircraft such as the Lockheed L-1011 Tristar, Boeing 747-400, Airbus A330-300, A340-300, and A340-600. Prior to his tenure at Cathay Pacific, Shaw gained flying experience with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Papua New Guinea and Tanzania. His earlier aviation work also involved flying agricultural aircraft in South Australia and New South Wales.
