Dave Schneider, born 23 April 1966, is a musician and the CEO at Shortlist, affiliated with Andersen Windows. He is known for his work with the bands LeeVees and The Zambonis. Schneider's musical influences include Alan Sherman, Woody Allen, Mel Brooks, and Carl Reiner, and he has sought to create music that is both humorous and musically engaging. In 2005, he and Adam Gardner produced the Hanukkah album Hanukkah Rocks, which aimed to blend comedy with musicality. Schneider has collaborated with artists such as Matisyahu, notably working together in 2015. Outside of his music career, he served as the on-ice master of ceremonies for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers from 2001 to 2012. An accomplished guitarist, Schneider plays a 1965 Gibson ES-335, an instrument that suffered damage in 2013 due to mishandling by baggage handlers at Detroit airport. The incident initially led to disputes over repairs with Delta Air Lines, but Gibson offered to repair the guitar at no cost and provided Schneider with a brand-new 50th anniversary reissue of a 1963 Gibson ES-335.
