Darren White: podcast appearances and interviews

Darren White is the Global Head of Product at Turnkey. His background includes serving as sheriff of Bernalillo County, New Mexico, a position he was elected to in 2002 and reelected in 2006. Before becoming sheriff, White held the role of Secretary of the New Mexico Department of Public Safety within Governor Gary Johnson's cabinet. He resigned from that position when Governor Johnson advocated for the legalization of marijuana. In December 2009, White was appointed Chief Public Safety Officer for the City of Albuquerque by newly elected Mayor Richard J. Berry. He resigned from this role following allegations related to police procedures involving a family member; however, he was later cleared by an independent commission. White also ran for Mayor of Albuquerque in the 2025 election, securing 31 percent of the vote in the general election before losing in a runoff to incumbent Mayor Tim Keller.
