Darnell Lamont Walker, born on February 17, 1982, is an American writer, director, producer, and death doula. He has directed and produced social impact documentaries such as Seeking Asylum, Outside the House, and Set Yourself on Fire, which have been screened at various film festivals. Walker has also contributed as a writer to children's television programs including Karma's World, Face's Music Party, and Blue's Clues & You! His work on the Karma's World writing team earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for an Animated Program at the first Children's and Family Emmy Awards. In addition to his work in film and television, Walker is an author; his book Never Can Say Goodbye: The Life of a Death Doula and the Art of a Peaceful End discusses themes of grief, mortality, living fully, and end-of-life care.
