Wilford Daniel White, born on February 9, 1952, is a former professional football player who had a 13-season career with the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. He played as a quarterback and punter, becoming the third major franchise quarterback in Cowboys history after Roger Staubach and Don Meredith. White's tenure with the team included a record of 62 wins and 30 losses as a starter. He was recognized as a second team All-Pro selection in 1982 and contributed to five playoff appearances, including three consecutive NFC Championship games from 1980 to 1982. White was among the last quarterbacks of the Cowboys during the Tom Landry era, sharing the position with Steve Pelluer in 1988. After retiring from professional play, he pursued coaching in the Arena Football League. Since 2011, White has served as a color commentator for Cowboys games on Compass Media Networks' America's Team Radio Network. He played college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils.
