Danny Thompson: podcast appearances and interviews

Danny Thompson is the director of technology at This Dot Labs. His background includes a long musical career as a multi-instrumentalist, primarily known for playing the double bass. Over the years, he has collaborated with numerous musicians, notably Richard Thompson and John Martyn. His technical virtuosity and intuitive feel have been recognized by publications such as The Times. Between 1964 and 1967, he was a member of Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated and led a trio that included guitarist John McLaughlin. Thompson was also a founding member of the British folk-jazz band Pentangle. In addition to his musical pursuits, he recorded six solo albums from 1987 to 2012 and converted to Islam in 1990.
