Danny Kanell: podcast appearances and interviews

Daniel Paul Kanell, born November 21, 1973, is an American sports broadcaster and former professional football player. He is employed by CBS Sports and SiriusXM as an on-air personality. Kanell played college football for the Florida State Seminoles, where he earned second-team All-American honors in 1995. Following his college career, he played as a quarterback in the National Football League and also participated in the Arena Football League. Beyond his playing career, Kanell is known for his work as a studio analyst, color commentator, and radio host. He previously served as an analyst for ESPN and hosted the Russillo and Kanell show on ESPN Radio. His tenure with ESPN ended in April 2017 during a round of layoffs. Since then, he has worked for Fox Sports 1, SiriusXM, and CBS Sports, establishing himself as a prominent figure in sports broadcasting.
