Daniel Whiteson: podcast appearances and interviews

Daniel Ofir Whiteson is an American experimental particle physicist and a professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Irvine. He obtained his bachelor's degree in physics and computer science from Rice University in 1997 and completed his PhD in physics at the University of California, Berkeley in 2003. Whiteson has been involved with the ATLAS experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider since 2007. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society. In addition to his scientific work, Whiteson is a co-creator of the animated educational television show Elinor Wonders Why, which airs on PBS Kids. He also co-hosts the podcast Daniel and Kelly's Extraordinary Universe with biologist Kelly Weinersmith.
