Daniel J. LaPlante, born on May 15, 1970, is an American convicted murderer currently serving multiple life sentences for his involvement in the 1987 murders of Priscilla Gustafson and her two children in Townsend, Massachusetts. Before committing these murders, he was detained in juvenile detention for a home invasion in 1986, during which he concealed himself inside the walls of a family's residence in Pepperell, Massachusetts, for over six months. His criminal history includes a period of juvenile detention that preceded his later convictions.
