Daniel Ray Herrera, born October 21, 1984, is an American who has held roles in law enforcement and has authored works in that field. In addition to his professional pursuits, he is also a Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt. Formerly, Herrera was a professional baseball pitcher in Major League Baseball. He played for the Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, and New York Mets. Known among baseball fans for his small stature, standing at 5 feet 6 inches, he was one of the smallest pitchers in recent MLB history. Herrera was recognized for his unique pitch repertoire, notably for being one of the few to throw a true screwball.
