Daniel Handler: podcast appearances and interviews

Daniel Handler, born on February 28, 1970, is an American writer, musician, and television producer. He is best known for his children's book series A Series of Unfortunate Events and All the Wrong Questions, which are published under the pen name Lemony Snicket. The series has been adapted into a film released in 2004 and a Netflix series that aired from 2017 to 2019. Handler has also authored adult novels and a stage play under his real name, as well as other children's books using his pseudonym. His first book, a satirical fiction titled The Basic Eight, was rejected by many publishers because of its dark themes. In addition to his writing career, Handler has played the accordion in several bands and contributed to the music of the indie pop band The Magnetic Fields, including appearing on their album 69 Love Songs.
