Dan Szymborski: podcast appearances and interviews

Daniel John Szymborski, born on June 19, 1978, in Baltimore, Maryland, is an American writer specializing in sabermetrics with an emphasis on baseball projections and minor league translations. He is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research. Szymborski initially gained recognition through his contributions to BaseballPrimer.com, which is now known as Baseball Think Factory. His work garnered attention when the site was featured by Time magazine and in Michael Lewis’s book Moneyball. He developed the ZiPS (Zymborski Projection System) prior to the 2003 baseball season, a projection system that has led to him being frequently quoted in print and online media as an expert in baseball statistics. Currently, Szymborski contributes to ESPN and is a senior writer for FanGraphs, continuing his work in baseball analytics and statistical analysis.
