Dan Povenmire: podcast appearances and interviews

Dan Povenmire, born on September 18, 1963, is an American animator, voice actor, writer, director, and producer. He has contributed to several well-known animated television series including Hey Arnold!, The Simpsons, Rocko's Modern Life, and SpongeBob SquarePants. Povenmire also worked as a director on the Fox animated sitcom Family Guy, a role for which he was nominated for an Annie Award in 2005. He is perhaps best known for co-creating the Disney animated series Phineas and Ferb and Milo Murphy's Law alongside Jeff Swampy Marsh; Povenmire also provides the voice for Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz in Milo Murphy's Law. Following the conclusion of Phineas and Ferb, he and Marsh created and produced the series Milo Murphy's Law, which premiered in 2016. They also collaborated on the 2020 Phineas and Ferb film Candace Against the Universe. In 2020, Povenmire announced a new Disney series titled Hamster & Gretel, which premiered in 2022. Throughout his career, he has received multiple award nominations for his contributions to animation, reflecting his influence in the industry.
