Cynthia Denise Bailey, born on February 19, 1967, is an American model, reality television personality, podcaster, and actress. She was born and raised in Alabama and moved to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue a modeling career. Bailey signed a five-year contract with Wilhelmina Models and appeared as a model in various magazines and advertising campaigns. Her modeling work also took her to Paris and Milan, where she worked as a runway model. In addition to her modeling career, she has acted in films such as Without You I'm Nothing and For Love or Money, and appeared on television programs including The Cosby Show. Bailey gained wider recognition as a cast member of the Bravo reality television show The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which she joined in 2010. Her personal life has been featured on the show; she married Peter Thomas in 2010, and their divorce was finalized in 2017.
